▶ 2:50:32 Kimberly Vandiver: Thank you. That will be recommended back to the full council. The next item on our agenda is ID number 2026-1177, an appropriation from free cash account number 01324001 to DPW School Facilities Department number 402 in the amount of $20,000 to update school signage.

This one is very similar to the bike rack free cash request that we had previously, where it's not that the amount was tied to an exact number of signs or a specific project, it was that the administration wishes to move forward on some school signage improvements that we've had sort of in the works for a long time, and thought 20,000 was a good amount to spend on that topic. I may have mentioned this at a prior meeting, but we had sent out a survey to all of the principals to say what signs do you need repaired or replaced. This can be anything from the big signs that are like the Roosevelt School sign that says Roosevelt School, big wood sign with, I think, granite posts, is falling apart. It could be big signs like that. It could be a handicap parking sign in a parking space outside the school, or just a no parking sign, no idling signs, any of those. It's exterior signage that we're focused on. And what had happened was, the facilities manager, Jay McNeil, and I had done this survey of the principals probably three years ago and gathered all this information, but we had no money to execute any of it aside from a handful of no parking signs that we just had readily available or we could make. So we will ask the principals again to update their lists, and then we will try to spread the funding around to as many locations as we can.
