A. (ID # 2025-125): Acceptance of Donation to Support Recycling and Sustainability Initiatives. Acceptance of Donation in the Amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500) for the Purposes of Proceeding with Solid Waste and Recycling Initiatives.
(ID# 13002) Councilor Jamaleddine asked who donated the $500 and it was Green Team Junk Removal. Councilor Williams expressed concern about this business donating the money due to their relationship with the city and it was explained that there is no conflict of interest. You know, and any of the other, um, recycling initiatives that we do, it could be toward, I suppose, composting or, um, so yeah. They weren't specific, it wasn't tied to that event. Okay. A lot of these companies have, you know, sort of a charitable arm that likes to reach out to the communities that they work in and, and give donations. Um, so yeah, I wouldn't consider it like a conflict of interest because we, we actually don't contract with them either. Um, Kate's office contracts with them. So they're state rep
