The current agreement with the Town of Redding expires on June 30th. The Board of Selectmen in Redding passed approving a one-year extension of the agreement last week, which is why there was the delay in it being on your agenda until your last meeting. Normally, it would have been earlier, so it could have gone through the committee process. I was on vacation, so I wasn't at the meeting. My understanding is the reason they're only doing a one-year extension rather than a three-year commitment is that they have a number of new members of the Board of Selectmen who are reexamining how they do business and want to take the time to – they're looking at every department there. and didn't feel like they wanted to commit to three years while they were in the process of
