O'Neill done it before good evening we have a letter here from Rob the mayor Dolan dear members of the Board of Aldermen I would like to nominate Dan O'Neill to the Cemetery Commission obvious chief O'Neill needs no introduction to this group he served the city with distinction as a member of the Melrose Police Department fitting finishing his tenure as a chief of department on his retirement. He's also served in a leadership capacity in several associations, coached sports, and has given his time and energy to many causes in our community and to improve the quality of life for all. I believe he will be a great member of the cemetery committee given his background, knowledge of the community, and commitment and interest in the Wyoming Cemetery. ▶ 2:29 Speaker 1: like to say anything before the Alderman ask you any questions that's a hard act to follow but I just like say that thanks for allowing me to come before this board it's great it's very gratifying me to give be considered for this position and also the opportunity to serve the city again after in some CAPACITY AFTER LIKE 14 YEARS OF RETIREMENT, WHICH I'M ENJOYING. BUT IF APPROVED FOR THIS SUPPOSITION, I LOOK FORWARD TO WORK WITH THE CITY ADMINISTRATORS AND MIKE HUGHES IN MAINTAINING PRESERVING THE RICH LONG STANDARD TRADITION OF THE WYOMING CEMETERY. I CONSIDER THE WYOMING CEMETERY A JEWEL OF THIS CITY, AND I THINK WE ALL TAKE GREAT PRIDE IN IT. SO I APPRECIATE THE CONSIDERATION OF THIS BOARD. THANK YOU, MR. O'NEIL. Yeah, I'd like to thank Mr. O'Neill for volunteering and doing this, I really appreciate it for his long service in many other positions.

Spencer, who was a long time alderman, was a long time member of the Cemetery Commission. And I tried to figure out how much time and service he had to the city, and it was beyond my mathematical ability, so I'd like to thank Mr. Spencer as well.
