▶ 1:41 Peter D. Mortimer: And before we proceed, I'm just going to, it's pretty clear that we have a quorum, six being required. But this is a committee of the whole, and I will read the attendance before we proceed further. I'm the chairman, Peter Mortimer, the vice chairman is Jacqueline Bird. Galen Ferna, John Tramatozzi, Monica Medeiros, Robert Boycelle. Mary Beth McAteer-Margolis, Jennifer Lemmerman, Scott Forbes, and Donald Kahn, the President, are in attendance this evening. And before you proceed, would you just aloud state your name and address for the record, please?

▶ 2:23 Peter D. Mortimer: Thank you very much, sir. And what would your commentary be this evening, please?
▶ 2:28 Speaker 2: I'm here with my other colleague. We are co-chairs of the Melrose Energy Commission. This is Lori Timmerman. the last time we spoke before this board on the issue of municipal aggregation i specifically cautioned that melrose residents would continue to be contacted by companies seeking to sign up residents for their own energy procurement plans i know all of you now know that that's true i've been contacted myself no less than 10 times over the phone as well as numerous mail solicitations All of these companies, I can guarantee you, as I said 10 months ago, are offering a product that is in their best interest to sell. I think it's quite important, and we have a chance as a community to take a step to protect all of our residents against unwanted solicitations. Where we can have electricity supply that not only saves us money and increases renewable energy attributes, but that we can know is something that's the best for everybody that's been vetted by people within the industry that have our best interests in mind.
