▶ 1:13:08 Speaker 3: you like to say a few words good evening I came in front of the Board of Aldermen when this was up before the Commission was even passed so I may be repeating part of what I said earlier I'm an entrepreneur I've had my own consulting and training business practice for many many years I grew up in Melrose and the native of Melrose but I've had the privilege of living and working a third of my life in many different countries on a number of continents so I think I have an interesting balance from that perspective one of my concentrations as I said the very first time I spoke in front of you was one of the things I do in my business and have done both domestically and overseas is training in negotiation communication conflict resolution I'm a certified mediator and I think when I see increasingly the stressful and complicated world that we all live in both here in Melrose and in our world community I think that's one of the things you're talking about agenda items and as they said when I spoke the very first time in front of this board that's one of the things that I would like to see and I think women in in every age group need better skills in financial literacy we need to know how to save and invest and so I would like to see maybe a series of workshops or panel speakers addressing some of those issues so I'm you know very excited and I'm very excited to see some of the other because I didn't know until last week when the names were you know released some of the other people who've been appointed as well I wore my hourglass stuff and so now I'm just very pleased thank you thank you I've known

▶ 1:15:37 Speaker 3: thank you and the second half there is that you know how do you feel about working with the others at times maybe they don't agree or do you think that there's items in your background that will help you yeah well at my I have multiple graduate degrees in negotiation conflict resolution I've worked in the Middle East and Northern Ireland and so I think I am actually I'm excited about difference I mean that's one of the things I think we really all need to learn to deal with matter to bring everybody together patient and just one more thing I would say is that I think I said in my little written piece that I sent in Melrose has such a tradition of volunteerism and creativity and that's our already been mentioned in many ways I mean Sally Frank wanted to buy good corn look what happened with the farmers market and I did when I was a member of the Human Rights Commission I did found the Peter about a Valentine Drive and it's been institutionalized and carried on by the trim and toesy well thank you
