Wright Jr.: mr president um as i indicated in committee um to make of this motion uh i hope it'll pass and i also hope that the extent the city has to choose between property tax bills and excise tax bills that it will put this on the excise tax bill property tax bills often go to your bank your mortgagee and while you do see a bill you don't pay it so you wouldn't necessarily be checking that box and adding a dollar or five dollars or twenty dollars but excise taxes go to anyone who owns a vehicle whether you're only your rent and um you know i think last friday we had a great example of the support this community has for its veterans in the morning and then in the evening over at memorial hall and as well as earlier in the week at the middle school so we've had a lot of of activities over the last month involving the school children and the veterans so i think we've got a great level of support in this community and i think this is an opportunity to make an easy way to support those veterans in need and i hope the members of this board
