All members of the Board of Aldermen are members of this committee. I am the Chairman, Peter Mortimer. We are joined by Vice Chairman, Gail Inferna. Also by Alderman Michaels-Werco, Alderman John Tramontozzi, Alderman Monica Medeiros, Alderman Francis Wright, Alderman Mary Beth McAteer-Margolis, Alderman Lemmerman, and Alderman Forbes. This meeting is being recorded by MMTV and future viewings of this meeting are available on the MMTV website and on the City of Melrose-Mass website. Alderman's Worker has made a motion to open the floor for public participation, duly seconded by Alderman Inferna. All in favor, please say aye. Aye. Any opposed, hearing none, public participation is now open and the public is welcome to come forward and make comments or ask questions about any order on the appropriations agenda at this time. Seeing no one further wishing to come forward, Alderman Forbes has made a motion to close public participation, duly seconded by Alderman Zwirko. All in favor of closing public participation, please say aye. Aye. Any opposed, hearing none, public participation is closed. Continuing on with our city budget, in committee we have order 2017-140. It is the City of Melrose operating budget for fiscal year 2018 in the amount of $77,397,919. The first budget we have before us tonight is budget 112. It is the Aldermanic Committee budget.
