▶ 1:36:57 Speaker 5: council has also chimed in with regard to this policy and noted that there should be additional language that says any bid should be in writing and that any advertising a bid should be in accordance with current law and ultimately that means that we advertise on calm buys which we can go into if the committee wishes but I don't think we need to I say all of that just to note that when this is next before us for a first vote there will be some slight changes to the language along the line suggested by Miss Lindquist and I will highlight those when we take this up again any further discussion comments

▶ 1:37:44 Christine Casatelli: please so thanks to the the chair of the subcommittee for making sure we comply with the law and of course it sounds like I mean our our hands are pretty much tied because we have to do the right thing and comply with the law but it seems to me that in places where this doesn't really maybe serve our purposes and is the case of the busing contract where we only are we generally get one bid right so there's nothing that we can include in our policy that may give us a better advantage in that process you can't you can lead a horse to water
