▶ 20:36 John N. Tramontozzi: The hour being 7.50 p.m. on Monday, December 11th. This is the Legal and Legislative Committee of the Board of Aldermen for the City of Melrose. My name is John Tremantosi. I'm the Chairman of the Board of the Legal and Legislative Committee. With us this evening are voting members Alderman Wright, who's the Vice Chairman, Alderman Mortimer, Alderman Forbes, Alderman Zwirko, President Kahn. Also, in addition, a meeting with us this evening, although non-voting members, is Alderman Boisselle, Alderman Inferno, Alderman Lemmerman, Alderman McAteer-Margolis, and Alderman Medeiros. As a reminder, this meeting is being recorded pursuant to the Massachusetts Open Meeting Law, and it's available for reviewing at any later date. I see we have a full house, so we're going to open the floor for public participation. Motion by Alderman Boisselle. alderman mortimer seconded by alderman's work on the motion all in favor aye aye the opposing none okay so this is that portion of the meeting uh we're going to open for floor to the floor for public participation but before we begin i was remiss in not reading the order we have one order on the agenda this evening uh and the order is order number 2018-53 amending melrose revised ordinances chapter 198 by adding article 5 recyclable and reusable bags further adding section 198-11 the use of recyclable and reusable bags that set as set forth here in this order was sponsored by non-voting members mary beth back at the my goal is in alderman at lodge michael's workout so we do have a motion that's been seconded to open the floor for public participation if anybody would like to come forward to comment on the order there's uh if you come to the table sign in please name an address introduce yourself and begin good evening my name is trudy mcdonald
