▶ 1:02:40 Speaker 4: to comment at this time mr. so the Melrose Human Rights Commission held a reception on Saturday no I'm sorry Sunday at the BB estate celebrating 25 years of existence it was very nice to see past commissioners and present commissioners commingling and sharing and a good time was had by all just as a reminder save the date as the MLK day of service is coming in January very quickly here so mark your calendars so that you can give back to the community more than you already do thank you thank you anyone else

O'Connell has spoken to it recently but it's such an important way for us as committee members to be informed and to also be available to our communities through these roles so I just want to the to the folks who I liaise with my very much appreciate you being very welcomed in those discussions and and what it did to inform my thinking as a member of the committee and and hope that we as a committee continue to really embrace and and dive deeper into those into those roles thank you mr. ▶ 1:04:08 Speaker 4: behalf of birth to five Melrose birth of five the the principals of the elementary schools held their annual welcome to kindergarten presentation and then subsequently the series of tours of each of the schools for incoming kindergarten parents and they'll be doing it the second iteration of that show and after the holiday break and I just wanted to thank them for all the work that they did on that presentation the idea originally came out of birth to five and they took it and ran with it and have a really comprehensive presentation that they do the some of the tours that the schools were led by students who are members of the student councils so I think it's just become a very comprehensive and informative event for new families to our district
