▶ 17:23 Speaker 4: wishes to speak would you please identify yourself sir hi my name is jerry morose and i'm here to speak on the item on the agenda tonight regarding um the last meeting for alderman khan and alderman mcintyre our goal is tonight um i haven't had occasion to come here in the last few months i just wanted to come and say thank you for all your service over so many years both of you and i appreciate very much that whether you've heard what i've been saying or not that you've listened a little bit so thank you very much thank you anybody else who wishes

▶ 17:57 Speaker 5: to speak been in the seat before recently so I will keep my remarks very brief I know there's a sense of agenda for the board tonight I just wanted to come before you once again to say how much the recycling committee appreciates all of the discourse in the community on the proposed reusable and recyclable bag ordinance and the discourse amongst the board over the occasions that we've had to come before you as well I also want to reaffirm the recycling committee's commitment to the successful implementation and adoption of this ordinance in our community we view this really as the first step towards you know our ultimate goal along the lines of this initiative we're committed to working with residents and businesses in the community throughout the implementation and again to ensure a successful adoption of the ordinance over the course of the coming months and years ultimately we'd like to sing to see Melrose be a bring your own bag community with that as the new norm and help our city do its part to reduce waste and promote sustainability so once again thank you very much for your support thank you motion to close public
