That order is placed on file. Before the President entertains a motion to adjourn this evening, I just have one brief announcement. You will see on my lapel here that I am wearing a white ribbon. This white ribbon is symbolic because this Friday at 8 a.m. in front of City Hall, in conjunction with the Mayor's Office of the City of Melrose and members of this Board of Aldermen, as well as the Melrose Alliance Against Violence and some members of the school department will be doing a ceremonial flag-raising ceremony in honor of men who stand out and speak up against domestic violence in our community. We know unfortunately too well our neighboring community in the town of Winchester recently had a unspeakable act and tragedy that occurred. It is important now more than ever that men generally because they are the ones who commit acts of violence against women stand up and speak out against domestic violence and other means of violence towards women I greatly would appreciate all those who can attend it is open to the public on month excuse me Friday 8 a.m. in front of City Hall from 8 to 8 30 thank you motion to adjourn mr. president second there has been a motion to adjourn made by alderman Mortimer seconded by alderman Boisselle all in favor aye any opposed
