Zwirko: motion for passage second it's been a motion for passage made by alderman Tramontozzi on the said order it has been seconded by alderman lemmerman all those in favor of the order any opposed hearing none the order passes before we adjourn this evening i just had two quick items i wanted to mention to the board and the folks viewing at home i have asked alderman Letter garabedian to serve as liaison to the school committee much like the school committee has liaisons for us so she will be updating us periodically under rule 53 about the activities at the school committee level i appreciate her for doing so and then secondly for those folks that enjoy chili and chowder this sunday if you have 10 bucks to spare a sawbuck as they locally recall it you could join us all some of us here will have their own chili some will have chowder it's a fun event it's a good event it's for a fundraiser to send the students of the melrose vets memorial project to washington every year um i believe alderman forbes is a reigning champion with his chili you are correct mr president in any event if you can attend it's at the vfw the norman prince is that correct norman prince yes w uh from 12 to 3 this sunday so that is all uh

Forbes: exactly alderman mr president yes before we adjourn i just want a motion of personal privilege please please okay I'm very proud to say that the applications for the Bill Forbes Scholarship Fund my father who's on that wall who looks at me every time I come in here applications for the Bill Forbes Scholarship Fund will be announced next week we handed out two $5,000 scholarships to Melrose graduating seniors last year we are fortunate enough to raise enough money we're going to be handing out two $5,000 scholarships this year plus an additional $5,000 scholarship to somebody in the surrounding communities. In two years, the Bill Forbes Scholarship Fund is going to be able to disperse $25,000 to Melrose graduating seniors. We cannot do it without the work and the efforts, not only of all of you, but everybody here in the community. So it's just another reason why I'm proud to be from Melrose, and I thank everybody who's watching and everybody that participates in such a worthwhile cause. Thank
