▶ 11:59 Speaker 4: lines um perhaps i'll just uh speak in general and perhaps if the board has questions and specific department heads or letters that were submitted um we can reference that that's the chair as well absolutely thank you on this order here is our as we saw last time with public works this is the rest of this city's year-end housekeeping these are transfers they're not appropriations that means that there's revenue and existing budgets to be transferred to others you're not raising revenue outside of the operating budget so the first one that we see and the total is 204 376.50 it's the fire salary overtime um 163 thousand dollars again the chief is here i can speak to the fact that they've had numerous retirements that were unanticipated overtime matters that uh due to a number of reasons that i think uh perhaps pertain as well to the police department that impacted their overtime this year as again there's a point of information the city did appropriate a hundred thousand dollars more to fire overtime to hopefully address some of those issues on next fiscal year as they surface which they will because of the uncertainty um if there's any questions mr uh fire chief is here

▶ 13:48 Speaker 6: again i could just uh reiterate what uh patrick had said though he had some anticipated unanticipated um absences uh long-term uh sickness we have one member that hasn't worked in

▶ 14:13 Speaker 6: a few minor injuries not that major and then we had by my count seven retirements in this fiscal

▶ 14:21 Speaker 6: year and uh five of those will be since april so there's a couple coming up in the next month or two uh next month actually uh and i think i have another one that hasn't made his interest known but it should be looks like about six weeks or so uh that's uh the reason for the uh overtime
