At this time, as folks are probably well aware, the city of Melrose lost one of their own this past week. Mr. John Daugherty was a longtime resident of Melrose and a dedicated and loyal public servant here for the Department of Public Works. We are terribly saddened by this loss and we can only hope that in these times his family can find peace. Out of respect for Mr. Daugherty and his passing as well as his family I ask that everybody please rise and join us for a brief moment of silence in his honor thank you thank you everyone motion to open the floor for
