NIMOUS] MOVER: Margaret Raymond Driscoll SECONDER: Jennifer McAndrew AYES: Dorie Withey, Jennifer McAndrew, Jennifer Razi-Thomas, Seamus Kelley, Margaret Raymond Driscoll, Matt Hartman ABSENT: Jennifer Grigoraitis B Vote: JJF Policy Mr. Hartman presented the JJF Policy for a second reading. The packet included the current Melrose policy, the proposed version and the MASC version. Discussion included policy language around the timing of independent auditing and also internal auditing. A motion was made by Ms. Driscoll to approve the proposed policy with language that states "in the years with no audit, the School Committee will receive a report of the results of the review from the district on the accounts" which was seconded by Ms. Withey, and a friendly amendment was made by Ms. Razi-Thomas to update the numbering of the proposed version, with all in favor, the middle proposed policy passed. ▶ 9:58 Speaker 5: Uh, Good evening. This is policy and planning subcommittee. So we have, uh, four documents in front of us tonight. Four, yeah. Um, one of them coming back for our second vote. Um, and why don't we actually start with that one? That is the, uh, the CTE policy. Um, folks will remember at our last meeting, we had a discussion about this policy. It's a new policy from Melrose, um, in response to DSI guidelines that have been put out to require us to have this policy. Um, it comes back with amendments around student records that would be provided to this. The, uh, the schools that are doing admissions for, um, VOC ed. And so if those, at our last meeting, we had our, our vote to suspend our, uh, reading of the policy and move right into the first vote of the policy. And we took our first vote on that policy as amended. So that language was brought to the floor and included in this draft that you see before you now. So tonight would be our second vote on this and approve the policy if there's questions or a motion.

Um, and I see Mr. Kelly has returned, uh, if we have questions on this.
