Medeiros: thank you thank you as a report as the school committee liaison I just want to that tomorrow night at 7 p.m. it's April 9th it's Tuesday the school committee will hold its public hearing on the school committee budget so that is an opportunity for any member of the public to go and speak and obviously they'll also be pretty significant budget discussions tomorrow night in the finance and facilities committee there will be a discussion of the Massachusetts state foundation budget for about 15 minutes is scheduled as well as an update on special ed out of district tuition costs and most importantly on deliberations on the budget and on various fees for everything from athletics to education stations and so on so it's substantive meeting and an opportunity for the public to be involved thank you thank you any other

Boisselle: reports Alderman Boisselle of the traffic Commission's report which had their meeting March 20th in this chamber he had about five items on the agenda the first item was the request by residents to add a parking restriction to Cottage Street between West Wyoming and Avenue and Russell Street to prevent all-day parking there seemed to be a situation concerning the MBTA the tot lot in the Lincoln School, and they were looking to have no all-day parking on that area, but a number of residents showed up and gave their arguments, and it finally ended up with one-hour restriction parking between 7 and 10 a.m., but between Wyoming Ave and to Alden Street, and not the entire street of Cottage Street at that point. almost half of the street was this one hour parking restriction between 7 and 10 a.m the second item was requested by residents to add a stop sign in temple street where it meets spear street that was approved the third item was requested by residents to add a stop sign in bellevue ad avenue heading south at the intersection of bellevue avenue after turning left from Lensville's Parkway westbound you have to be there to understand what's going on the vote it was a tie vote and it failed so there would be no stop sign there it's basically just a sign just to be careful at that point the residents were requested to restrict parking on Ashland Street just north of the intersection with Franklin Street to improve sight lines for making turns this was a quite a debate between the commissioners because and finally a number of initiatives were either restrictive parking restrictive turns on parking or make it a one-way street what the final result was no parking from Franklin Street up Ashland Street about 50 feet and if you're on Franklin Street and looking up there's a sort of a pathway from the church coming from the main stairway and that's where it's going to end we're no there'll be no parking at that point also the traffic code is being considered along the bike routes the there's two bike routes one from Wakefield to Malden one coming straight down Main Street and one coming down Main Street and coming down Tremont Street after it's going down Franklin and what they're trying to do is standardize and all the signs to the regulations that are in the code if you go down Main Street you'll see 15 minutes here 10 minutes here or 30 minutes here or an hour here or two hours here and some of these signs are not in the regulations they're going to be reviewed and codified accordingly and that was it.
