▶ 3:09 Manisha Bewtra: close public comment second um all in favor aye aye opposed public comment is now closed um in to address that um comment there is actually in the agenda packet on page two there is a description of the three accounts from which we are transferring funds from and to um and so there's one order before us this evening order 2019-95 transfer of twenty two thousand five hundred dollars from account number zero one three zero one two dash five four seven three hundred to various counts as set forth herein to begin I wanted to just note that we received a memo from human race human resources director Marianne long miss long is unable to attend tonight's meeting so I will read the memo into the record she says a transfer of funds is necessary to unemployment compensation to give the claims in fiscal year 2019 these claims are not unusual or excessive based on trends in fiscal year 2019 the budget was reduced by $30,000 in response to mayor and furnace request for cost saving measures citywide hence the need for the transfer a transfer of funds is also necessary in physical exams due to unprecedented retirements within the fire department new recruits under civil services law must pass a pre-employment medical and psychological exam before being hired these funds are necessary for the most recent hires that's the end of her memo I also corresponded with City Auditor Patrick de la Russo who noted that we budgeted for seven students to attend ethics North Shore agriculture and tech agricultural and technical school but only four Melrose residents ended up attending as such that's why the transfer request is out of this account to the other accounts noted in miss long's
