Mortimer: this is a special meeting of the melrose board of aldermen under article 2.26 of the melrose charter any four aldermen may convene and call for a special meeting to be held But because that was the case here, our president, who usually is in attendance, was not in attendance as she did not expect to be occupied on this evening. Jennifer Lemmerman is the usual president and a great president, but this was unexpected to her.
