As we all know Ms. Farrell is retiring at the end of this week and we We began a search for her replacement last summer, and I'm very pleased to recommend Leah DiLorenzo-Sicor as the Director of Finance and Administrative Affairs. Leah has quite a bit of financial experience, having worked 20 years in Weymouth in a variety of positions, most recently as the finance manager for the Weymouth Public Schools. She is a certified school business manager and has a bachelor's in business administration and is currently enrolled in a master's program in business administration. Our projected date of start is October 28th. In accordance with Mass General Laws Chapter 21, Section 41, the school committee is responsible for appointing, awarding the contract, and I am recommending a three-year contract to
