▶ 1:54:55 Jennifer McAndrew: Fair enough. I just wanted to mention to everyone that I attended the Massachusetts Association of School Committees annual meeting as the Melrose delegate. Thank you. Proudly representing you all. It was great experience, and I know others on the committee have had that experience before. Sarah Silver, We did, I know all of you have seen the packet with all the resolutions that were being considered, but we did. Sarah Silver, At the intermediate consider and pass nine resolutions, this is basically agenda setting for the association it's essentially their lobbying agenda for the year at the statehouse. Sarah Silver, So they were I can you know send you the link to the full resolutions, if you haven't seen them, but just to mention there. um couple of resolutions related to climate change and banning polystyrene which melrose
▶ 1:55:53 Jennifer McAndrew: has also discussed as a city um related to um uh promoting greater competition in bus contracts which i know is a perennial issue on this committee i think it got the loudest yay vote of all of the resolutions um encouraging the legislature to move toward fully funding and supporting universal pre-k for all students and provision related to providing additional funding at the state level to provide free access to menstrual products from the school nurse and in all restrooms and locker rooms so those are just a few in addition to the usual i understand annual vote on charter schools that's taken at that meeting so it was a great meeting and if anyone has any questions about it or wants to participate next year feel free to let me know thanks enjoyed

▶ 1:56:44 Margaret Raymond Driscoll: ms mccandrew's excellent report the superintendent and i had the great privilege to present on on superintendent evaluation at the conference on a panel with Ms. Presser and a representative from the Department of Ed and another school committee member and given that we have a goal this year around piloting a new superintendent evaluation, that's something that aligns with that goal and so it was, we were appreciative to have that consistency and that ability to contribute to the goal while we were in attendance. It was fascinating to hear the questions from the audience
▶ 1:57:31 Speaker 4: and to hear about some of the practices in the other districts. And we were a little bit grateful that we are here as we currently are. Can we just leave it at that?
