MacMaster: councillor McMaster oh you're on mute Thank You madam president point of personal privilege is I just wanted to recognize the Melrose Fire Department today some of you may know today is International Firefighters Day and in particular you know this is not just a day to honor their service but in light of everything that we're facing with COVID-19 the additional demands that this brings upon the fire department the risks that it presents to our firefighters and to their families I thought it was fitting to at least just publicly acknowledge them this evening I did file a resolution earlier this evening along with counselor Stewart who is the chair of protection and license it's a resolution where we will have the fire chief and the mayor before us at our at our next meeting where we as a council can honor them together so I I just wanted to publicly state that this evening, and also while we're on the point of personal privilege is also recognize firefighter, Robert Driscoll, who has been deployed by the National Guard, who many of you may know, he's a Lieutenant Colonel up for promotion to Colonel and oversees a very large medical squadron. I believe it may not be squadron, it might not sure that's the official term, but he has hundreds of national guardsmen and guardswomen under him who have been deployed throughout the state to assist communities rendering medical aid. So wanted to also acknowledge him personally this evening. Thank you, Madam President.
