I'm the City Clerk, Amy Camosa, and acting under Rule 48 of the Rules of Order of the City Council, a caucus is called to nominate a President of the Melrose City Council for the year 2021. So, this remote meeting is called to order and pursuant to Governor Baker's March 12th, 2020 order suspending certain provisions of the open meeting law and the Governor's March 15th order imposing strict limitations on the number of people who can gather in one place. This meeting of the City Council will be conducted via remote participation to the greatest extent possible. We will post an audio or video recording transcript or other comprehensive record of these proceedings as soon as possible after the meeting on the City of Melrose website or on MMTV3.org.
