▶ 0:01 Jeff McNaught: Good evening. The time is 632 p.m. The date is May 19th, 2021. This is a meeting of the Appropriations Committee. I am the chair of the Appropriations Committee. I am Councillor McNaught. This is the first of a series of meetings that will have budget hearings for budget season for fiscal year FY22. In lieu of a roll call attendance and joining me this evening are. Counselor. Counselor, Jamal Dean, counselor. Counselor McMaster and counselor Stewart. As well, as president. I want to note that counselor will be. Here in a few minutes, she is at the middle school, watching her son. perform in the middle school concert tonight, so good luck to Graham. Vice Chair Eccles is just running a few minutes behind, but the attendance that we have here does constitute a quorum for the record. We'll get going. Pursuant to Governor Baker's March 12th, 2020 order, suspending certain provisions of the open meeting law, and the Governor's March 15th, 2020 order imposing strict limitations on the number of people that may gather in one place. Did someone say something? Maybe it's my own echo. Sorry. This meeting of the Appropriations Committee will be conducted by a remote participation to the greatest extent possible. We will post an audio or a video recording, transcript or other comprehensive record of these proceedings as soon as possible after the meeting on the City of Monroe's website and on MMTV3.org. I also want to note for the record that Vice Chair Eccles is here in attendance.
