▶ 0:03 Jeff McNaught: Okay, we're recording. Good evening, the time is 6 30 p.m. on June 9th, 2021. Wednesday evening, a beautiful evening here in Melrose, Massachusetts. Another toasty one. This is a meeting of the Appropriations Committee. My name is Councilor McNaught and I am the chair of this committee. In lieu of a roll call attendance, joining me this evening Our Councilor Tramontozzi, Councilor McMaster, Councilor Garipay, Councilor Grigoraitis, Councilor Jamaleddine, Councilor Stewart, Councilor Thomas, and President Cinella. I just want to note that Councilor Migliorelli is at her son's, I believe it's, I figure what they call it for the middle school, it's the open house for the middle school this evening. Last night we saw all the kids out for the step up to the high school program, um, out and about town.

▶ 1:05 Jeff McNaught: Um, and I just want to note that vice chair Eccles is with us now, uh, as well. So the attendance provides a notice of a quorum for the record. Pursuant to Governor Baker's March 12th, 2020 order, imposing Suspending certain provisions of the open meeting law and the governor's March 15th, 2020 order imposing strict limitations on the number of people that may gather in 1 place. This meeting of the appropriations committee will be conducted via remote participation to the greatest extent possible. We'll post an audio or video recording, transcript, or other comprehensive record of these proceedings as soon as possible after the meeting on the City of Marlowe's website and on mmtv3.org.
