▶ 2:53:42 Speaker 2: is now before us if you'd like to good evening mr president Margolis fleischman again i'm the director of strategic initiatives and communications in the mayor's office and i'm joined by emergency management director alan alpert and fire chief kalina this evening to present to you these two grants from the massachusetts emergency management agency one in the amount of 6500 which is an annual grant that the city of melrose receives to address our emergency management preparedness focusing on all hazards but essentially can be used for the needs of the city and we do you we do come before you annually to accept that grant the second one is a one-time grant of ten thousand 68 that was awarded to the city of melrose for emergency hazmat training that we would like to be able to offer to all city departments the purpose of accepting these two grants together tonight is to allow the training facility that we currently have for emergency trainings to be upgraded to meet the needs of our emergency preparedness and first responders as well as city departments for regular municipal trainings as well as well as hazardous material trainings great thank you any questions what is the will of the council motion for passage
