Mr. President, at this time, I'd like to make a motion to pull from the Appropriations Committee Order 2022-29, authorization of a bond in the amount of $21,010,000 for the purpose of paying costs of the Murrow's Public Library renovation project.

Respond and understand. The decisions that were made in the discussion that was had. I'm going to make that suggestion as a consideration. Through your chair to the full council.

▶ 2:35:19 Robb Stewart: uh thank you mr president i just wanted to um just get the policy and if it's the the will of the full committee the full council then uh certainly we can move forward counselor not

▶ 2:35:35 Jeff McNaught: mr president i just wanted to say i completely respect what council stewart was doing this is is no small amount of money um it was just discussed tonight at the appropriations committee but as we all know we've all done our due diligence and asked the questions that we we needed to ask over the past really two three months um and uh to the point of i think many uh mainly you president snell tonight have stated we haven't received one uh email against funding this project which is what gave me the comfortability to pull it up tonight and as you stated we've done this um with with pretty much everything else so um my gut reaction would be to agree with counselor stewart just because it's such a large sum of money so again i i completely respect where he was going with that but i'm not going to uh remove my motion um i'll

I understand what Councilor McNaught is saying, so if it moves forward tonight, it will be voting in favor of it. But I do understand that Consular Stewart for transparency reasons, you know. Okay, it could hold over to the next council meeting, but if it doesn't move forward tonight, I'll be, I'll be supporting it.

I just wanted to take a moment before we do this vote on what I know we all feel, as was just stated by our colleague, that this is a pretty significant matter before the council and I just wanted to take a moment to say that I support this for all the reasons that were outlined tonight, but also to thank both the members of the administration for the effort that they put into educating both us and the community and to thank you all as my colleagues for the time I know you put in to educate yourselves as we make this decision. I know there were many meetings people had and questions and tours, and I also wanna thank President Snella and Appropriations Chair McNaught for the time that they took to make sure we all were able to come to this tonight feeling prepared to act um i think that's how we all see ourselves as thoughtful representatives of the community so i'm really pleased with the process that we went through which i know i don't always get to say so i just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge that um i'm very appreciative of the efforts of so many thank you anybody else on
