▶ 30:08 Jennifer McAndrew: or comments from the committee seeing then i just had a couple things to mention on your report thank you first of all let me just express i know we'll have continued opportunities to do this throughout the meeting but the committee's appreciation gratitude and thanks to miss white lambright for her tremendous service to the district and her 40 years as an educator and also thank you to principal rosso and all of her colleagues who participated in that beautiful tribute thank you all and and thank you to patty's family as well for being here and please do not be a stranger to us in Melrose in fact I already asked Patty if I could give her a call if I want needed to talk to her so thank you thank you to Stephanie and Melrose kind as well Stephanie if you send me a website an email address I'll make sure those are in the minutes so that folks can reference that if they want to get in touch with you thank you for that and finally on the topic of Halloween thank you for addressing that superintendent um and um to the folks who who emailed us um and who spoke tonight i think um i would just add to what mr obramsky and others have said that um i think we um you know i'm looking forward to the the review that you're going to be conducting with the principals i think it's important that that review is very transparent that the entire community gets to provide input and thought around that and that that and i also think that um as we move forward thinking about not just how we communicate these decisions but the timing this is something that you and i have talked about that the timing of these decisions is really important that you know a decision regarding even um a broadening of the fall festivities um which i support um during the month of october is it lands a little hard for folks who are trying to plan and room parents and all that so just the timing is really important the transparency and um and you know i think also um just um more opportunities for all of us to continue to learn about um about holidays and also as you're working through that process if there is are changes that need to come before the committee for consideration in the student handbook which is where our holiday policy currently lies we would be interested in seeing those changes and talking with you or if we need a policy in our policy manual around celebrations and holidays we should consider that so just so the community understands that that's where where the committee's role is is in the policy and the superintendent and her team implement those policies so we're looking forward to this not being the end of the discussion and thank you so much for that absolutely excellent any other final comments this time seeing none moving forward to our consent agenda which tonight includes the school committee regular meeting minutes of october 12 2021 policy jbd gender identity support and the warrants as follows fiscal 22 s 22017 in the amount of seven dollars and 35 cents Warrant S-22018 in the amount of $1,063.36.
